Anonymous visit count
Every visit increments an anonymous daily counter on our own server. It sets no cookies, stores no visitor identifier, and records no IP address — just a tally of how many visits happened on a given day. Because it collects nothing personal, it runs without consent.
Analytics
We load a privacy-friendly analytics script that records page paths, the referrer, and coarse device and browser information, so we can see which pages and papers are read. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
The analytics script is on by default. If you opt out, the script is never requested and none of this data is collected for your visit. You can change your choice at any time below.
Essential storage
The site stores a small amount of data that is strictly necessary to function, and does not need consent. This includes your colour theme preference (theme) and your cookie choice (cookie-consent), both kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a tracking cookie. Clearing your browser storage removes them.
Your choice
Opt out of analytics whenever you like. The anonymous visit count runs either way, and opting out does not affect your ability to use the site.
